Artist Notes: Bright and cheery, this Butterfly Daffodil is one of many varities of daffodils growing in my backyard. It was taken this spring with a Sony Cybershot.

• This is a very cherrful shot! Shooting flowers almost looks better on camera when done under cloudy skys. Sunshine often times will blow out the colors on the petals, and digital cameras will especially have a hard time reading the light off of them. [by sh on Jul 27 2006]
