If you're using a Mac, you should consider calibrating your monitor to 2.2 gamma at 6500/D65. • Thanks for the tips, Mark. I have a Mac CRT calibrated to mimic a PC which I occasionally use, but the trees in this are dark even at 1.8 gamma. A quick fix would probably be a selective levels adjustment in the area. I shot a stop underexposed [f11 @ 1/500] which may be part of the problem.... trying not to blow out the hot spots in the fog behind the trees. [by john on Jan 26 2007] • Stunning photo!!
